Nursery Open During Covid

Dear Nursery Parents,

Since the start of this term primary schools have only been open for vulnerable children and the children of critical workers. The government have told families

  • they must stay at home (except for limited reasons) and that this is the single most important action we can all take to protect the NHS and save lives.

I know that many parents will want to ensure that their child is kept at home during this period and the government’s message is that every child who can be safely cared for at home should be, to limit the chance of the virus spreading. However, I am now required to write to all parents to say that you can contact us if you need childcare and want to send your child to Nursery during this period.  If this is the case, please email by 9:00am on Wednesday 20th January 2021.  A member of the team will then contact you to discuss this with you further.

If you decide to remain at home, please be assured that your child WILL NOT lose their place at Seven Sisters Nursery. We will continue to post home learning ideas and activities on the website. You can regularly update your child’s Tapestry Journal and we will also use this to stay in regular contact with you. We may also call you from time to time.

This is an extremely challenging time for everyone and we want to be as supportive as we can to all our families. However, we also want to do all we can to ensure that children, parents, carers and staff remain as safe as possible.

We appreciate and welcome your understanding at this time and look forward to providing the best  service possible to all considering these difficult times. Stay safe and best wishes.

Yours sincerely,

Emma Murray
